The AASP-PA: So who are we and how can you benefit from membership?

The Alliance of Automotive Service Providers of Pennsylvania, Inc. (AASP-PA) maintains an office in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. AASP-PA makes every effort to keep its members abreast of current information regarding the automotive industry.

AASP-PA offers a number of benefits for its members. The benefits range from health insurance, state lobbyist, uniform service, legal council, training courses and area field representatives: just to name a few. AASP-PA maintains numerous other benefits and is constantly searching for other ways to assist its members.

The House of Delegates, which is made up of the appointed delegates from each local chapter, governs AASP-PA. Quarterly meetings are held through the year. The mechanical, collision, towing and service station divisions hold meetings at this time. Any member is welcome to attend these meetings.

AASP-PA holds two regional trade shows, alternating between the Philadelphia and Pittsburgh areas annually. Both trade shows attract automotive industry exhibitors from across the country. This is another way AASP-PA informs not only its membership but also the general automotive industry of the latest automotive technology and other information that is important to the automotive industry. In addition to the automotive exhibits, training classes and panel discussions are also part of the AASP-PA's trade shows.

The Pennsylvania Automotive and Insider News is the official bi-monthly magazine of the AASP-PA. Each member receives a copy of this publication. It is one of the best magazines in our industry, filled with information and advertising pertinent to the automotive industry in Pennsylvania and Delaware.
