Pennsylvania Transportation Bill

All members,

We have had some requests for copies of the PA Transportation Bill that was signed by the governor. I’ve removed a lot of the pages which don’t pertain to us and highlighted some of the language that may affect your businesses.

You’ll notice there is no clear indication on the fee increases to registration and driver’s licenses for the general public so we are including a link to an article written for Pennlive.com which explains how those fees will increase.

Needless to say it is a news article and other than crosschecking it with other news articles across the state I can’t confirm how accurate it might be.

You will notice that on the commercial side there are quite a lot of fee increases which for those of you who have service vehicles could see some pretty significant increases for registration. As always we will monitor what new fees are coming and keep you informed.
